Owen O’Neil Associates is a family business that began as Hugh M. O’Neil Company. We have been a trusted partner in the Bay Area and beyond since 1944.
We are dedicated to the principles of scientific engineering design to achieve structures that are economical through practical and simple methods of construction.
Since 1987, Owen O’Neil Associates has designed a variety of commercial buildings and industrial plants. Our small projects include retail stores and remodels. Larger projects categories include:
- Tilt-up concrete construction,
- Seismic retrofit, soft-story evaluations, soft story upgrades
- Post-tensioned concrete structures.
Our firm is fully automated for structural analysis and design. We use trusted software such as ETABS, PERFORM 3D, POSTEN, WOODWORKS, and ENERCALC.
